Bus driver charged with attempted abduction of 10-year-old girl
The Penn-Delco School District says it hires "skilled, dedicated bus drivers" that "take transporting your children very seriously." Gregory Cornell appears to be the exception. He's charged with trying to abduct a 10-year-old girl in Upland on Sunday while in possession of 154 bags of heroin, one bag of crack and an "inflatable Position Master sex toy."

Gregory Cornell appears to be the exception.
Cornell, 37, a bus driver for the district, was arraigned today for allegedly trying to abduct a 10-year-old girl in Upland on Sunday while in possession of 154 bags of heroin, one bag of crack and an "inflatable Position Master sex toy."
Not exactly the kind of guy you want driving your kids around. The district just released the following statement:
The Penn-Delco School District is aware of media reports indicating that one of its bus drivers has been charged with allegedly committing certain crimes. Based upon these reports, there is no reason to believe that any of the alleged activities occurred during hours in which the driver was working for the district. The District stands ready to support law enforcement authorities in their investigation as needed. Consistent with standard practice, the driver has been suspended and relieved of duty, and a substitute driver shall be assigned to cover this driver’s bus routes until the matter is permanently resolved. As always, The Penn Delco School District will keep the safety and security of our students as its primary concern.
The girl told her mother that she was riding her scooter when Cornell got out of his car and chased her down the street approximately 50 to 75 yards before she hid in a backyard. Cornell is currently being held at the county prison, according to Upland Police.
