Win Of The Year
If you're reading this in the early hours of Wednesday morning, then you're like Andre Iguodala himself -- running on adrenaline. Since this game ended at 1 a.m., only a buzzer-beating edition made the papers. Here's the final edition, for those of you interested.
This is -- absolutely -- the best win of the season. After the game, Tony DiLeo said he felt like the team was starting to come together like they did before the all-star break. This was a gutty win, especially being down 14 in the fourth and watching, with 6.6 seconds remaining, Kobe Bryant do what Kobe Bryant does. Although (sweet) Lou did not make the final edition, his first-half play, and 14 first-half points, were essential in the Sixers bouncing back from what was a slow start.
Oh, and that's Jack Nicholson in the photo. 127: You asked for the Blackberry photos. There they are, in all their glory.
The Story:
LOS ANGELES – If silence makes sound, you heard it last night in the Staples Center.

That's how you shut up the Laker fans. smithu
Great stuff? It remains to be seen how they do in the playoffs without a legit post threat. If they do well, they are going to have to move Brand. Of course, no one will give them fair value, but they may have to eat it because of the potential of Young and Sprieghts. fgdavis- FG can you just enjoy the moment? I watched that game from beginning to end. Did anyone see Iggy's last shot? It rattled inside the rim then dropped right in. Definitely the best win of the season, thanks for the good writing Kate.

Thanks for rewarding everyone who stayed up for the late-night TV session, Iggy! (And Donyell. And DiLeo for playing Donyell again. And Lou Will for killing it in the second half.) Leegles

kate: too late on the east coast to stay with it but thanks for the reporting/update-and the BlackBerry photo! a very nice way to start the road trip and finish this game. unlike baseball, where often the next day's starting pitching determines whether there really is any momentum, in good rhythm can flow in basketball. perhaps we're riding that wave now. while marshall may not be able to give us significant minutes, he's providing selective quality time. excellent to see iguodala really step up as he can/should. keep the analysis and pics coming... 127sixer59
