The Day Before

The photo to the left is our view of the practice court. About 20 to 30 minutes before practice ends, the blinds are lifted. There aren't a ton of photo options right now, but once the regular season starts, I promise the photos will improve.

Sixers are back at PCOM. They practice today from 11 a.m. until about 1 p.m. then leave this afternoon for tomorrow's game against the Celtics at UMASS.

I think we've exhausted our speculation about the Sixers' lineup. But the good news is we built a video player into the blog. You can find it on the right rail. All the videos we produced from State College are archived below. The plan is, throughout the season, we'll produce videos from the road, from shootarounds, from the games -- heck -- even from the airport if a snowstorm cancels a flight (sounds thrilling, eh?).

CHANGE: I have to cancel today's Sixers Chat because I'll be driving to Amherst. But the good news is we'll be running a Live Chat tomorrow to discuss the Sixers vs. Celtics preseason opener. My apologies on today's chat. I had considered stopping en route to Boston, but that idea is proving impossible.

More coverage

Today should be about looking ahead to tomorrow's opener ... oh ... and making sure the sprained left ankle of Kareem Rush didn't keep him off the practice court.

Be back later ...
