Sixers taking OKC game seriously

Preseason or not, the 76ers want to fly back to Philadelphia Wednesday with an undefeated record.

MANCHESTER, England – Preseason or not, the 76ers want to fly back to Philadelphia Wednesday with an undefeated record.

"We are trying to win the game," reserve forward Tony Wroten said of Tuesday's preseason contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Phones 4U Arena. The Sixers (1-0) defeated Bilbao Basket, 106-104, on Sunday in Bilbao, Spain.

"OKC is a great team," Wroten added. "They have one of the best players in the NBA [Kevin Durant. And, obviously, they are a championship contender every year.

"So like I said, even though it's preseason, we are going to play like it's a championship game in the NBA."

The Thunder (1-0) defeated Istanbul Fenerbahce Ulker, 95-82 on Saturday in Turkey.
