Sixers hire Brandon D. Williams as 87ers' GM

The 76ers announced the hiring of Brandon D. Williams as the Delaware 87ers' general manager on Friday. He will also serve in the Sixers' front office.

Williams has worked for the NBA League office the past eight seasons. He was most recently the league's associate vice president of basketball operations.

The Sevens begin their inaugural NBA Development League season in late November.
