Rockets top Sixers in summer league opener

ORLANDO  - Terrence Jones finished with 24 points and nine rebounds to lead the Houston Rockets to an 88-80 victory over 76ers in Sunday's Orlando Pro Summer League opener at the Amway Center practice gym.

Sixers first-round pick Michael Carter-Williams led all scorers with 26 points. The 6-foot-6 point guard also finished with a team-high eight assists, seven rebounds and nine turnovers.  Guard Rodney Williams added 12 points for the Sixers, while Khalif Wyatt finished with nine

Wyatt struggled through 4 for 15 shooting.

Sixers guard Travis Leslie, who is battling a groin injury, only played 3 minutes, 18 seconds.
