Past, present Sixers partake in NBA Cares event

BILBAO, Spain -- The 76ers spread some NBA love following practice here at the Bizkala Arena at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre.

Evan Turner, Spencer Hawes, Michael Carter-Williams and Tony Wroten along with former Sixers Darryl Dawkins and Dikembe Mutombo participated in the NBA Cares event. They put a group of Bilbao-area kids through shooting, passing, dribbling and defensive drills over 45 minutes on the arena floor. Meanwhile, Sixers Khalif Wyatt and Lavoy Allen participated in an outdoor NBA Fan Zone.

"We are trying to share our basketball knowledge with the young people here," Mutombo said. "It seems like they are having fun."
