Michael Carter-Williams was named the NBA Eastern Conference rookie of the month on Tuesday.

The 76ers point guard led all rookies in scoring (17.2 points), assists (7.3 assists), steals (2.9 steals) and minutes played (36.2) during the 13 games played in October and November.  The 11th overall pick out of Syracuse was also second in rebounding (5.3).
