INDIANAPOLIS – My look at some of the best and worst performances from the Indiana Pacers 99-90 victory over the 76ers on Monday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse:
Best performance: Hollis Thompson gets this in a losing effort. The Sixers swingman scored a career-high tying 17 points on 6-for-7 shooting from the field. He was 4 of 4 on three-pointers. The rookie also finished with six rebounds, three assists and a blocked shot. The Sixers would have won if he had more touches.
Worst performance: I have to give this to Evan Turner even thought he finished with seven rebounds. The Pacers reserve swingman made just 2 of 7 shots while finishing with four points against his former team. Early on, Turner appeared more focused on playfully yapping in the direction of the Sixers bench than scoring.
Best defensive performance: This award goes to David West. The Pacers power forward had two steals and blocked a shot. He finished with 12 rebounds – 10 defensively – and seven points.
