Look forward to reading about Eric Maynor's workout. To me he seems to be a great choice at 17.

Maynor and Teague seem to have potential as PGs, especially Maynor--he seems to have some leadership possibilities...

If we're going point guard you can go wrong with Maynor

Vasquez isn't a first rounder. Probably not even an NBA player. I'd be worried about Maynor's size. 163 lbs at 6'2" is tough to hold up in an NBA season. Trade up a few spots to make sure you get henderson.

Maynor's the real deal. Someone who'll give us some direction and a winning attitude.

What do people see in Eric Maynor? (not a rhetorical question). Jeff Teague is an NBA player. Plain and simple. Would love to hear anyone's thoughts. From this group, Teague and Lawson are clearly the best of the bunch. Maynor behind. And no one else worthy of the #17 pick.

Maynor to me has a little less than Teague in skills, but more intangibles as far as working the floor and looking for others; he's also a better defender IMO....

Lawson or Teague would be good picks, hopefully they sign Miller and who ever they pick can spend a year learning the position.

I saw Maynor play a few times last year and he just seems to have a nice presence on the floor. I think he would be a hard worker, improve his shot, and understand his role as a floor leader. He will add more muscle and strength, I'm not too worried about that (plus, didn't the Sixers once have another skinny dude who turned out to hold his own physically...Alan something?) Now I am not comparing Maynor to Iverson at all, I am just saying Maynor's size is not a prime concern. Maynor's game is different from AI's in that he will not be driving to the basket every-other play and will not have the ball in his hands for 18 of the 24 seconds on the shot clock.

Why so many guys being brought in to workout? 76er's only have a 1st round pick. They have no 2nd rounder. So unless they think some of these guys are going to be around after the draft is over they are either very undecided in their first choice, out of 5 guys, or they are very unrealistic as to who will be left from the group of players they have brought in to workout.
