The 76ers have signed free-agent power forward Rashad Jones-Jennings to the training camp roster. Jones-Jennings went undrafted out of Arkansas-Little Rock in 2007. That year, he led the nation in rebounding. Last season, Jones-Jennings played for FC Bayern Munchen of the German League.

With his addition, the Sixers now have 18 players in training camp at St. Joe's, 13 of those under contract.

Earlier today, the Sixers announced they would hold a free, open practice at the Spectrum at Oct. 10.

The team is currently in their only practice of the day, it began around 10 a.m. and should go to about 1 p.m. More later ...

How tall is this guy who was such a good college rebounder? Can he rebound at 6-8 in the NBA? Undrafted?

He's listed at 6-foot-8. Suprised Kate didn't mention that.

The Sixers suck. The New "old Logo" needs something extra to wipe of the boredom. Brand is a bust, AI is not a super star, the rest of the team is sub-par. Since we made the playoff that could only mean the leauge has taken a few steps back in regards to over all quality players. Hey, guys i'm just telling the truth. Hate me or love me...most people are at least thinking it.

Any shot Dionte Christmas makes the team? Or is this management too smart and instead will stick with other teams' failures instead of giving a guy a true shot? That's what happens when management consists of a bunch of mediocre at best retreads.

I guess it`s really cool to keep stating that Iguodala is not a super star. Of course, when we had a super star in philly (Iverson) we won championship after championship. Didn`t we? Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Dirk Nowitski, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh...they`re all super stars and they won a lot of championships for their teams as well. I guess the whole super star theory really does prove to be correct. It`s the super star that wins championships, not the overall talent of the team. Geez, now I have a better understanding of how basketball works. Thank you to all of those intelligent people that keep mentioning how the sixers don`t have a superstar and are thus facing iminent doom.
