VIDEO: Tonight, a visit to ‘NCIS New Orleans’
Another ‘NCIS’ spinoff? You betcha, bosun. This one in the Big Easy.
Tonight's episode of NCIS (8 p.m. on CBS3) is entitled "Crescent City". The first of a two parter, it's what used to be called in the TV business a "backdoor pilot". Gibbs and company travel to New Orleans where they work with another NCIS bureau.
It's headed up by Jethro's old pal, the legendary Dwayne Cassius Pride (Scott Bakula). They do thing a little different down in Louisiana as you'll see in this clip.
The Washington crew is there to investigate the murder of Dan McLane, another old NCIS colleague. If things work out (and NCIS projects have a way of doing that at CBS), NCIS New Orleans will be on the schedule next fall. Tonight you get to meet Bakula and his backups: Lucas Black, Zoe McLellan and CCH Pounder. Laissez les bons temps roulez. Right, Jethro?
