Top ten reasons Christie endorsed Romney

You kind of knew David Letterman was going to take a run at this one. Garden State guv Chris Christie is this year's Arnold Schwarzenegger: a political figure who practically writes his own punchlines.

That's what he seemed to do last night in Dave's Top Ten Reasons Why Chris Christie Endorsed Mitt Romney.

Yes, most of the gags are Rabelasian references to Christie's appetite. (How come Ed Rendell never took this abuse?) But unusual for Dave, it's a top-loaded list. The first few are funnier, it seems to me, than the final few. And where'd that dig at Rick Santorum come from?
