The Situation bolts 'Jersey Shore'

The Situation bolts ‘Jersey Shore’

Do we have a Situation here or not?

There are conflicting reports that the Situation has exited MTV’s Jersey Shore. He left. He came back. He left again for good this time.

Yo, Mike, make up your freakin’ mind.

A show insider has told Us Weekly that the Situation has definitely left the building in Seaside Heights, in the middle of taping for the reality series' fifth season.

"Mike walked off the show,” said the source. “He's so over the whole thing.I don't think he's coming back. Everyone in the house is so unhappy."

He would be the second guido to fly the gilded cage this week, following a disgruntled Vinny Guadagnino. (See Vinny impersonate the Situation, below.)

Their departure would seriously imbalance the delicate gender balance on the Shore soap. (Shore and soap: those are two words that look funny together.)

How can the show go on without the Situation’s fridge pack? What would it take to lure him back? A lifetime supply of Captain Morgan rum and an ocean of bronzer?

Pony up, MTV.
