Ah, those awkward teen years. Judging by this picture from US Magazine, they afflict everyone.
You’re looking at a shot from 1987 of two high school girls in the ladies’ lockers. Both would grow up to be tabloid fixations. The one on the right as a TV and movie star with a turbulent love life. The one on the left for her famous show biz parents and for undergoing a sex change procedure two years ago.
Yes, it’s Jennifer Aniston and Chaz (then Chastity) Bono at Manhattan’s High School of Performing Arts, which they both attended. (Yeah, it’s the academy Fame was based on.)
In an interview earlier this year, Aniston said, “Every day a group of us would go to Chaz’s house after school. I haven't spoken to him in awhile.”
With Bono taking to the ballroom floor on Monday for the season debut of Dancing with the Stars, this might be a good time to renew the friendship, Jen. And if you two were to be spotted together now? That would be paparazzi apocalypse.

- IMO, his Wiki page says Chastity played guitar and drums in a band in her twenties. She probably played instruments and sang growing up, considering her parents and her stepfather Greg Allman.— dglass1
