Move over, Billy; 'GMA' anchors spoof Oscar films

Hail, hail, the gang was all here for Good Morning America: The Movie. Actually Robin Roberts was out in Hollywood, holding down ABC’s pre-game coverage of Sunday’s Academy Awards.

But back in Times Square, her morning cohorts gathered with popcorn to watch their acting debuts. Roll it.

I’m guessing that was Sam Champion as Harry Potter. My favorite was Lara Spencer as Lisbeth Salander from The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I suppose George Stephanopoulos was trying to hold on to his dignity by only doing that running scene ala George Clooney from The Descendants. I would have liked to see him take on War Horse. He’s got the right physique for a jockey. The real ham in the group is newsreader Josh Elliott. His silent film acting speaks volumes.
