Local singer thrills again on ‘The Voice’ VIDEO

The Knockout Rounds end with a memorable matchup

We're on to the live compeition segment of The Voice, but the Knockout Rounds went out with a thunderclap of talent on Tuesday.

Have you heard Matthew Schuler yet? A native of Yardley, he was studying at West Chester University when he tried out for the show. Look for his blind audition video. Singing Young the Giant's "Cough Syrup", he turned around all four judges chairs like they were slingshot. Almost as soon as he opened his mouth.

Last night, it was time for Christina Aguilera to pick the final member of her team. It came down to Schuler vs. Will Champlin. And Schuler once again brought down the roof with a rather unexpected choice, "Cosmic Love" from Florence and the Machine. I know there are 19 other singers still in this but can we just declare him the winner now?

As you watch the video, you might want to stick around for Champlin's rendition of Bruno Mars' hit "When I Was Your Man".

Christina wisely chose Matthew for her posse. Adam Levine promptly stole Champlin for his team. We have a feeling these two will face off again.
