Chelsea Handler shafts Kathie Lee and Hoda

Too sick for 'Today' but well enough for Jimmy Fallon.

Chelsea Handler shafts Kathie Lee and Hoda

Poor Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. The regular Today show got boy band sensation One Direction and a frenzied crowd on Rockefeller Plaza on Tuesday morning. The ladies only got cardboard cutouts of the lads during their hour.

That brought up another painful subject. The featured guest the day before, one Chelsea Handler, had cancelled on them at the last minute, claiming she was up all night fighting illness. But guess what? Handler showed up in the same building a few hours later, none the worse for wear, to tape Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. And she was bragging about skipping out on her Today appearance.

As you can see this did not sit well with the morning girls.
