Another TV wedding for Nick Lachey
The wedding of Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo will be taped for cable.
Nick Lachey is the marrying kind. Or more accurately, he's the marrying on TV kind.
It was announced today that Lachey's wedding to his fiancé Vanessa Minnillo will be taped to air on the cable channel TLC. The couple is keeping the date of the ceremony secret; TLC is planning to air the special as soon as feasible after the big day.
Lachey, who first gained notoriety in the boy band 98 Degrees, has been down the aisle with cameras before. His 2002 marriage to blonde bombshell Jessica Simpson was the focus of the MTV series, Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica. The couple divorced three years later.
Lachey, 37, is the host of NBC's reality competition The Sing-Off, which pits a capella groups against one another. The show returns to the network schedule in the fall.
Minnillo, 30, a former Miss Teen USA, was a longtime MTV on-air personality. She was just announced to replace Jill Wagner as the co-host of ABC's game show, Wipeout.
