Women in combat? 'The Daily Show' weighs in

Sexual shibboleths are falling left and right.

The Boy Scouts are preparing to end their ban on gays. And our military has just decreed that women can take combat roles.

Of course, this set off a howl of righteous objections. And that knee-jerk reflex was irresistible to The Daily Show.

Alright, I wasn't too crazy about that Officer and a Gentleman coda, but I loved when she clicked her fingers to return us to Mayberry.

Hmm, wonder if that Ben & Jerry's she's spooning is the new flavor they developed for the Thursday finale of 30 Rock?
