On Friday night, the website Philebrity is hosting a Christmas pageant to aid the Friends of the Free Library effort to keep open 11 libraries slated for closure.

Your $10 donation to this event benefits the Friends Of The Free Libraries' $10 Challenge! Donations can be made at the door, or you can print out a copy of the receipt if you have donated to the $10 challenge at Friends of the Free Library for admission. We encourage you to give even more so that Philadelphia's citizens have access to the great resources our libraries contain. Since many of our schools don't have libraries of their own, this is critical for our young citizens!
