Mitt Romney may hold rally in Bucks County Sunday

Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney's team is considering a campaign rally in southeastern Pennsylvania Sunday afternoon and Clout hears Bucks County is a likely locale.  Romney's running mate, U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, is due to campaign in Harrisburg Saturday.

A Romney visit would cap a closing week that has seen his campaign start advertising on television in Pennsylvania, prompting President Obama's campaign to take to the airwaves as well.  And several pro-Romney groups -- The American Future Fund, Americans for Prosperity and American Crossroads -- have started dumping millions into commercials in Pennsylvania criticizing Obama's record.

Obama's campaign this week cast Romney's late play for Pennsylvania as "desperation" born of poor performance in other battleground states.  Romney's campaign on Wednesday called the state part of a strategy to "expand the map" to win the presidency.

If Romney shows up, can a last-minute visit from Obama or Vice President (and Pennsylvania native) Joe Biden follow?
