Given how dull this election is, we've been asking everyone about their predictions for the 2015 mayoral race. DiCicco said he thought it would be a faceoff between Councilman Jim Kenney, Councilman W. Wilson Goode Jr., Councilman Bill Green and state Sen. Tony Williams. In that pack, he predicted Kenney and Williams as frontrunners.
Councilman Bobby Henon noted that a large number of his colleagues are rumored to be considering the race which would mean they'd have to resign to run. "Bobby Henon would love that," he joked.

Everyone here is predicting really low turnout today. Former Councilman Frank DiCicco estimated an "all time low" of 15 percent. Most others we've talked to put their guesses in the 15 to 18 percent range.

State Rep. Mike O'Brien isn't worried about his chances today, since he's unopposed in the primary and the general. Still, he joked "I'm out campaigning today, you can't take it for granted."
We asked O'Brien how he thought the 2015 mayoral race was shaping up.
"I heard [Council President] Darrell Clarke on [WHYY} yesterday. He's the only one who sounds like a mayor. Damn he sounded like a mayor," O'Brien said.

Did you notice an "I Voted Today" sticker at your polling place? They're new, courtesty of new City Commissioners Chairwoman Stephanie Singer, who tells us that the English and Spanish stickers are in polling places across the city.
"I thought it was important to raise the profile of election day," siad Singer, who said the stickers cost $4,000. "One of my goals is to engage Philadelphias in the voting process. This is an inexpensive fun way to raise the profile."

Former Congressman Patrick Murphy says he can handle the tough talk that has dominated his battle with Kathleen Kane for the Democratic nomination for Attorney General.
"It's not like I'm in Iraq getting shot at any more," the veteran said.
Murphy predicted low turnout, but was hopeful he would win out today.

Union Leader John Dougherty says the rumors are not true – he's not looking to run for mayor in 2015.
"No, I have no intention of running for mayor," said Dougherty, saying he is too busy working as business manager for IBEW Local 98 and continuing his charity efforts.
Dougherty declined to even pick a horse in the race.
"I think there's no frontrunner right now. I don't know who's running. I'm working with everyone. I think that anyone who's running better have a crime program.," Dougherty said.

We're here at the Famous Fourth Street Deli for what is looking like a dull Primary Election day so far. With few competitive Democratic races in the city, turnout is expected to hit historic lows.
