Is this U.S. Rep. Eric Cantor's audition tape for the VP spot?
U.S. Rep. Eric Cantor, the Republican majority leader in the U.S. House, has posted a curious video he calls "Snapshots of a leader" that chronicles an hour of his day this month. What can we tell you about that hour? Cantor meets with a lot of people while staffers take plenty of pictures. "It has to do with all coming together and trying to promote achievement and success for everyone," Cantor says over a snappy guitar track.

Cantor, who will speak tomorrow at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, is certainly promoting his own success. The video, which can be reached from a YouTube link on Cantor's official Congressional website, is heavy with the message of pulling together and taking advantage of opportunities.
Our first reaction: Is Cantor auditioning for the vice presidential spot on the 2012 ticket? We sure hope he answers that question in his speech tomorrow.
