Friday's DN: City Commission Issues Subpoenas In 180th Race

The Philadelphia City Commission issues subpoenas to judges of elections from the 7th Democratic Ward while investigating the results of the primary election for the state House 180th District seat last month.  And state Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams is running in 2012 for state auditor general.

A federal judge rules that the Lower Merion School District didn't discriminate against black students in a plan to decide which high school they should attend.

In Delaware County, high hopes rest with the new professional soccer stadium in Chester while Darby borough sees big drug busts followed by a block party.

And remember the teen tased by a Philadelphia police officer after running onto the field during a Phillies game?  A judge gives him probation and community service.
