So our nation's capitol has been hit with similar winter mayhem to Philadelphia. And Washington D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty is facing the same kind of bills.
Local snow removal cost the Philly $3.4 million for the December storm. Costs have not yet been tallied for this past weekend or today's snowfall, but it's obviously going to be a big number when this is all over. DC costs are also in the millions.
According to this National Public Radio report, Fenty has asked the federal government to help foot their bill. Should Philly think about a similar request?
