DA Seth Williams to Endorse Nutter for Mayor

Given that Mayor Nutter is an incumbent without a Democratic opponent, this is hardly a surprise. But, fun fact, Nutter didn't actually endorse Williams in the Democratic primary for District Attorney two years ago, instead doing robo-calls for one of his opponents. Nutter then endorsed Williams after he won the primary.

Also, we're not sure how they are compiling the figure that homicides are down 27.7 percent. There were 306 homicides in 2010, compared with 302 in 2009. So they have actually gone slightly up year over year, although the number is down compared with the 391 in 2007.

UPDATE: Nutter's campaign said the percent change is referring to the change from 2007 to 2010. But by our math that's a 21.7 decrease.
