Clinton makes calls on Nutter's behalf

Since Bill Clinton couldn't make it to Philadelphia for Mayor Nutter's rally last week –which was cancelled due to weather conditions –the former president decided to show his support by "doing the next best thing."

This afternoon, a robocall by Clinton –urging voters to support Nutter's reelection for a second term, reached roughly 200,000 voters.

"Tomorrow is Election Day," Clinton said. "So please get out and vote for Mayor Nutter."

"He's got a great record he's worked had through tough times," he said. "He has a vision, the leadership and the experience to continue leading your great city."
