The South Philly legend Joey Vento, best known for his cheesesteaks died Tuesday of a massive heart attack. He was 71.

Check out more on City Council Candidate David Oh and his political woes. The local Fraternal Order of Police lodge voted Tuesday to rescind its endorsement after news that he fudged his military resume.

John Baer applauds Mayor Nutter and the School Reform Commission for limiting the amount of public dollars used to buyout out Queen Arlene through the use of anonymous donors. Meanwhile, Auditor General Jack Wagner called for an audit of the Schools Superintendent’s buyout deal.

Mayor Nutter offers a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot and injured six people during a basketball game Monday night at Kingsessing Recreation Center.
