PhillyStat, the data collection program designed to improve city services, has been on ice since July.  Did you notice?  Will it come back better than before?

Arlene Ackerman has been in charge of the Philadelphia School District for three years and has the political scars to show for it.  As another school year starts, all eyes are on the district again.

And Will Bunch says the Philadelphia region seems more tolerant for Muslims than other parts of the country.
