Here we are on the eve of Independence Day and the Daily News editorial board asks an age-old question: Will City Council members decamp to the shore for the summer or other places during their long summer break or actually try to accomplish something?
The Nutter administration loses an appeal of an arbitrator's ruling on a new contract for Philadelphia firefighters.
Members of the Occupy National Gathering at Independence Hall are being released in dribs and drabs from police headquarters after being arrested.
