John Baer notes that Gov. Corbett is heading Pennsylvania's delegation to the Republican National Convention in Tampa this week but not exactly playing a starring role for the national party.

Your Clout round-up of the RNC and related events on Monday:  Tom Smith, the Republican nominee to challenge U.S. Sen. Bob Casey Jr. for his seat, channels U.S. Rep. Todd Akin on rape and pregnancy.  Plus, former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum prepares to go after President Obama on welfare program changes tonight in an RNC speech, Americans for Prosperity won't say if they are dropping for good the television commercials used to attack Obama in Pennsylvania and don't count out Donald Trump for an RNC appearance.  There are, after all, television cameras there.
