It wasn't a dream.  You really did read it here yesterday:  The Philadelphia Parking Authority is turning down -- for now -- a chance to charge you more for parking at a meter in Center City.

And here's more about Mayor Nutter handing a pink slip to the first head of the city's new Office of Economic Opportunity after nine months on the job.

City Controller Alan Butkovitz criticizes the Philadelphia Water Department for spending millions on what he calls a failed new computerized billing system and then jacking up water rates for customers.

And a Common Pleas Court judge objects to a ruling from the state's Court of Judicial Discipline that he illegally used the resources of his office to run a real estate business on the side.
