Thursday's DN: Anonymous letter claims cop killed missing woman

Thursday's DN: Anonymous letter claims cop killed missing woman

POSTED: Thursday, January 10, 2013, 10:02 AM

Toni Lee Sharpless hasn't been seen in three years, since she sped off drunk from the home of the 76ers. But a recently mailed anonymous letter could provide ominous clues to the Chester County woman's disappearance - or turn out to be a cruel hoax.

Police are declining to release information about an investigation into an alleged rape that occurred earlier this week inside a Center City Four Seasons Hotel suite rented by Brooklyn Nets forward Andray Blatche.

The Martin Luther King Day of Service, which began in Philadelphia, on Jan. 21, is coming up again, and organizers expect another record turnout.

And an Atlantic City strip club is suing to keep their brochures alongside ones for other Garden State attractions at rest stops in New Jersey.

Happy Common Sense day.
