POSTED: Thursday, December 9, 2010, 10:42 AM

Things take a weird turn in the Tartaglione story, when City Commissioner Marge Tartaglione threatens to "punch out" a reporter.

In the wake of Inquirer reports that schools Superintendant Arlene Ackerman redirected a contract to a minority firm, supporters crowd a meeting of the School Reform Commission.

This is what happens when you have one party rule. Corruption is the norm and anyone who does not play a part in it is cut out of the pie. Philly is dying as a major city, following Detroit down a dark and fatal path. it remains to be seen if anything can save it.
