PICA Report Shows Slowdown or Decline in Tax Collections

The Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority just put out their report on city tax revenues for the month of Februrary, which basically shows that tax collections are continuing to slow or drop off.
Here are a few of the stats: the realty transfer tax is down 47.1 percent compared with February 2008 and the sales tax is down 7.6 precent compared with February 2008.
