We've just learned that Sen. Barack Obama is planning to grace Philadelphia with a visit on Oct. 11. A source with knowledge of the campaign tells us that the Democratic presidential candidate is expected to do more than one event in the city. The details are still being worked out.

Last week we noted that Obama had not visited the city or the suburbs since June.

That's it. Scratch him off the list. Entertainers should avoid political statements. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SPRINGSTEEN CD. NEVER. EVER. Ray from Downingtown

Yeah, Ray, I just hate it when rock musicians write songs that stand for something real and personal, and then back it up with their actions. Somehow, I don't think you get as upset over Toby Keith, Charlie Daniels, or Chuck Norris hanging out on Fox News.

Chuck Norris isn't a rock musician. Or any kind of musician. However, just because: Chuck Norris is so fair and balanced, if he leans too far in one direction, the Earth has to adjust its orbit to compensate.

NObama: Keep the change. NObama is a liar and a Marxist, and has no business running for POTUS.

Wow, 17MileDrive...your ignorance is really impressive. You must be so proud. Welcome back, Senator Obama. I hope you'll pay us a visit in Delco while you're in town. Anyone who doesn't think we need change clearly isn't paying attention.
