Mayor Nutter said it was "disgusting" to read the report in today's Daily News about a Philadelphia police officer accused of groping women during drug raids -- and stressed that the city will take action if an FBI and police Internal Affairs investigation finds wrongdoing.

"Just reading these accounts and the descriptions that are laid out by the women and other family members involved, it is quite disgusting to read about these kinds of things," Nutter said. "I’m not making any judgement at the moment about what has happened. But I expect that there will be a full, thorough and complete investigation and if anyone has engaged in the kind of activities described [in the story], I am fully confident that Police Commissioner Ramsey will take the appropriate action."

I feel so bad for all the GOOD officers serving the city when I read stuff like this! I sure hope that all of these allegations are baseless!

Years ago a PA State Trooper, with his entire life ahead of him, told me there was a very fine line between the criminal and the cop. And very sadly he crossed it.

The mayors comment is for the DN... "disgusting" to READ ALLEGATIONS. That is why these investigations should be internal until proven

Yeah Mike, just like W.W. Goode and his clerk in the islands. Now that was cute. Why is a white cop, treated differently, than a black councilman. And one whose father, dropped a bomb on his own kind. It's time for people to wake up, and see that the Black Panther's are winning. Not to mention the Muslims.

"And when we find out that these fine upstanding citizens are just trying to make quick buck will the police dept arrest them for making a false police report?" Well cityboy, we already know that these rogue officers have committed crimes while on camera. Hmm, I guess only a person with an IQ below 50 would be suspicious of claims made by the citizens who were harassed by these cops/criminals. The corrupt police union made a huge mistake by speaking out for these cops/criminals. Correction: The police union is a criminal organization (so it all makes sense). Give yourself a break.

I think it is completely disgusting that these women were violated, were brave enough to come forward and tell their story, and yet these ANIMALS, are being protected? Why are we NOT seeing a photo of these officers? The Police department should be ashamed of themselves!! Clear abuse of power.
