Nutter Making Personnel Moves, Gillen Out At RDA

Mayor Nutter has a 1 p.m. presser today to make some "personnel announcements." We're hearing that among the announcements is that longtime Nutter ally Terry Gillen will be stepping away from her current post as executive director of the Redevelopment Authority, although it sound like she'll move to another position in the administration. We'll update when we know more...

2:03 p.m. -- Yep, Gillen is leaving the RDA to work as Director of Federal Legislation for the mayor. In that job she'll be trying to work with lawmakers in Washington DC to advance the city's agenda. Taking over the RDA will be Ed Covington, a former senior vice president of Wachovia Bank.
