Unemployed? Need a job? Well look no further.

City Councilman Kenyatta Johnson will be holding a job fair on Friday with more than 50 employers at the Myers Recreation Center at 5803 Kingsessing Avenue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participating employers include Aviation Institute of Maintenance, Philadelphia Fire Department, the state Department of Transportation, Philadelphia Gas Works, Wal-Mart and more. The job fair is sponsored by the African American Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.

“It’s always been a priority of mine to focus on getting people jobs regardless of the economic outlook,” Johnson said. “We must always focus on getting people gainful employment.”

For more information contact Johnson’s office at 215-686-3412.
