Monday's Daily News: So Long, South Street Bridge

A hearty crew of local politicians took a walk, we're told, this morning over the South Street Bridge just before it was closed for demolition and a two-year rebuilding project. No word on whether they made it to West Philly.

A hearty crew of local politicians took a walk, we're told, this morning over the South Street Bridge just before it was closed for demolition and a two-year rebuilding project.  No word on whether they made it to West Philly.

Kitty Caparella updates her series last week about trouble at a local U.S. Postal Service mail sorting facility.

Mayor Nutter is expected today to praise a local clothing store that is helping to keep a rec center going. 

And the family of Lance Haver, the city's consumer affairs director, may get some closure today in the criminal case of a 22-year-old who shot his adopted son.
