Mitt Romney campaign sends some PA staffers to Ohio

POSTED: Tuesday, October 9, 2012, 2:42 PM

Pennsylvania's Democratic and Republican parties put out dueling emails to reporters Tuesday about Mitt Romney's campaign for president in the Keystone State.  First the state GOP issued a press release, pointing to recent news stories to say "Romney seizes momentum in PA."  The Democrats responded 23 minutes later, citing a Daily Caller blog post to ask is "Romney closing shop in PA?"

That Daily Caller story cited a "knowledgeable campaign source" as saying Romney was "diverting substantial resources" from Pennsylvania to Ohio.  The conservative web site noted that Romney spoke of winning Pennsylvania when he visited Philadelphia and Wayne last week.

A Romney campaign source, who would only speak if not identified, told PhillyClout that the campaign is shifting five of 64 staffers to Ohio to help organize efforts with early voting in that state.  The source emphasized that all of Romney's "victory center" offices in Pennsylvania remain open.  The source characterized the staff shift as temporary but could not say when those people would return to Pennsylvania from Ohio.

Voter ID / vote theft has failed it is better for Romney to try to steal election somewhere else.

Please no rude comment towards the "resources" Romney is allocating to Ohio. Those people don't have a choice.

Romney will ship them to China from Ohio like he shipped the SunBeem emoyees job. They would be lucky if they have job in China

The Obama campaign has a strong organization in all of the battle states so he doesn't need to pull resources. Democrats have planned all along for close election that will be won with a strong get out the vote, ground game. That's exactly what will happen. Apparently, the brilliant businessman is poorly prepared. One of the worst managed campaigns in modern history.

hey sharkeymachine - either you are not very well informed or you just choose not to give people all the facts. Democrats are now having a couple of their hired voter registration firms being investigated in FL and a few other states for the very same thing. Also, the firm which you are refering to in FL works for the Democratic party also - they are just a consulting firm hired to do a job and a few people out of many took advantage and they were fired.

If you want to see voter cheating, all you have to do is go to Philadelphia and you will see the democrats busing "voters" in and going from polling place to place. The same people vote multiple times.

This is the lead in from an Oct 3rd story on Fox News (you don't doubt them, do you?):
"TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is conducting an investigation of alleged fraud involving a company hired to register voters by the state's Republican Party..."

hey scubapro, we already get that Republicans are basing this entire campaign on lies. You don't need to beat us over the head with it! The voter registration firm accused of fraud is called Strategic Allied Consulting and its a Republican firm. Your claim that people are being bused around in Philadelphia is just a blatant lie. It has never happened and never will. Romney's economic policy is class warefare. It's a radical fraud which takes money from the middle class and transfers it to the wealthy. No amount of lies will hide that fact.
