Judging from the press release we just got, it looks like Mayor Nutter is poised to endorse Cindy Bass in the race for the 8th Councilmanic District.

Judging from the press release we just got, it looks like Mayor Nutter is poised to endorse Cindy Bass in the race for the 8th Councilmanic District.

PhillyClout sources confirm that Nutter is going to back Bass. This will be his first endorsement in the open Council races.

Vincent Hughes, and Congressman Chaka Fattah will join Cindy Bass at Wired Beans Café to discuss the campaign for Philadelphia’s 8th District and to make a major campaign announcement. After the announcement, Cindy Bass and Mayor Nutter will knock on doors of 8th District voters to meet them and talk about the issues.
