Mayor Nutter: I'm finishing my term

POSTED: Wednesday, November 7, 2012, 2:05 PM

Responding to ongoing speculation that he could be offered a White House job in President Obama's second term, Mayor Nutter today said he's not going anywhere.

"I'm going to serve out my entire term as the mayor of the city of Philadelphia," Nutter said, adding that he'd made his feelings known to Obama's staff. "The question won't be asked. I know that for a fact....The folks at the White House know very clearly my intentions."

In the past, Nutter's comments on the rumors were less definite. But today, he purposely sought to end any conversation about the possibility that he would leave office before his term ends in January 2016.

"Absolutely, 100 percent I'm not going anywhere. I love this job," Nutter said.

Num Nut is not going anywhere, NOBODY WANTS HIM. NUtter is an idiot and couldn't find his way out of a paper bag. He has continued the tradition of destroying the city of Phila and its citizens both black and white. He is such a dunce that he doesn't realize that he is a total incompetent like that clown that is now the VP again. Maybe they could form a company and rent themselves out as clowns for kids birthday parties. Heaven help our country with these two characters.

In Washington he'd be just another peon. The spotlight would be non-existent. His golf game might pick up though....

That's what he says today. He also promised in 2007 he'd eliminate the gross receipts tax. The tax is still around. We'll see what happens next year.
