Tom Corbett, Republican, Pennsylvania’s Attorney General
Jim Gerlach, Republican, a four-term U.S. Representative from Chester County
Dan Onorato, Democrat, Allegheny County’s chief executive
Jack Wagner, Democrat, the state’s Auditor General
Joe Hoeffel, Democrat, a former U.S. Representative turned Montgomery County Commissioner
Tom Knox, Democrat, a millionaire businessman from Philly, who came in second for mayor in the 2007 Democratic primary
Chris Doherty, Democrat, Scranton’s mayor

Chris Brennan, a native Philadelphian and graduate of Temple University, joined the Daily News in 1999. He has written about SEPTA, the Philadelphia School District, the legalization of casino gambling, state government, the mayor, the governor, City Council and political campaigns.
