I'm still waiting for this to be outlined to me how I am suffering from the budget impasse. What exactly is the PA Coalition for Essential Services advocating for, and whom? Not to be glib, but where is this horrible melt down that should have happened by now? Maybe it is possible that we really are spending too much money as a state, and can cut back without too much trouble?

I can be persuaded, but first, groups like the PA Coalition for Essential Services has to try. Just standing around with signs doesn't really make the case for me. Where is the information?

I'm not "suffering" from the budget impasse, but I'm supposed to start paying an increase in my sales tax, which I'm trying to avoid by buying stuff online. But if my state legislator is fighting still more tax increases as I'm paying a wage tax, and a BPT, and other high Philly and PA taxes, I'm sorry, but that is worth paying them a salary. The Dems have to compromise with sensible, temporary cuts. We don't need "temporary" taxes, we need temporary cuts. Well done to the GOP for holding the line on common sense.
