McCain and Palin on Friday

So John McCain flew to Philadelphia today and his campaign alerted the media to meet him at the airport.  But then reporters were kept almost a full football field away from the presumptive Republican nominee for president.

Was that because of news that a certain 17-year-old from Alaska is in the family way?  Here is a press release the campaign just put about Bristol Palin, the daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.  McCain surprised many in his party on Friday by picking Palin for the post of vice president on his ticket.

Will Bunch has more at Attytood.  And here is the Associated Press report.

the real scandal has yet to unfold. You see, Sarah Palin was never pregnant with her so called fifth child, Trig. You can look at any of the pictures or videos, and if you think Sarah Palin is seven or eight months pregnant in them, then you my friend, are drinking much too much Kool-Aid. Trig is her daughter's baby- yes, Bristol who mysteriously missed 8 months of her junior year of high school during "mom's" pregnancy. Now she is saying Bristol is such-and-such months pregnant to prove it impossible that she could pregnant again!!!! LOL...we don't know, and never will know how many months pregnant little Bristol actually is. Let’s say you were a pregnant woman who went into labor with a Downs Syndrome child. Would you then get on an 8 hour airplane flight? Really? Would you? Putting all the other passengers at risk of having to make an emergency landing somewhere? Sarah, the tough Alaskan claims to have had her water break in Texas, yet she got on a plane for an eight hour flight- IN LABOR, and then when she arrived in Alaska she drove 45 minute to a hospital that has no neonatal ICU even though she knew the baby had Down Syndrome!!!!!! That shows vice-presidential judgment-funny that there is no record of any Trig Palin being born in that hospital...Anyone who believes this woman as far as they can throw her should be ashamed of themselves....you can see it all here... http://dailykos.com/story/2008/8/30/121350/137/486/580223

So much for sarah's abstinence-only stance. She could not even get her kid to go along? Don't care that her daughter got pregnant, it happens. I care that the mother doesn't have a clue. And now she will force two 17-yos to get married to keep the repub family values going. Fraud.

Are all of the Obama suppporters ignorant? Don't you think McCain and his people were told about Palins' daughter? The whole town knew. As far as I'm concerned Obama and his hate spewing posters fell right into the hands of the GOP. I was on the fence but I'm going with Sarah Palin now.

BKLYNBOY - The ultimate joke is the Palin family forcing the teens to marry each other in the name of "family values".
