At a press conference last week we noticed Mayor Nutter use a phrase that he's bandied about before: "Philly, it's just better."
The mayor -- who was referring to some new funding for projects on the Delaware River -- has also tossed out the four word line on his Twitter feed a number of times. So PhillyClout wondered, is this some kind of new city slogan?
According to Nutter's spokesman Mark McDonald, this isn't any part of official city marketing, but the phrase has sprouted up organically since the Cliff Lee decision to return to the Phillies. "It has many different levels of meaning," he said.
What do you guys think, is this the right slogan for the city?
