W. Wilson Goode Jr.: When I Get Engaged, I'll Tell The World

POSTED: Wednesday, June 3, 2009, 5:14 PM

City Councilman W. Wilson Goode Jr. didn't want to comment earlier today on posts his controversial aide, Latrice Bryant, made on her Facebook page.  In fact, Goode told PhillyClout he didn't even want to hear the comments attributed to Bryant.  But Goode later decided to comment on his own Facebook page about the to-do.

"When I get engaged, I'll tell the world. Until then, stop posing hypothetical questions! :)"  Goode posted on his Facebook page about 30 minutes ago.

So there you go.  Of course, this doesn't answer the original question:  Did he ask Bryant to marry him, as she seemed to repeatedly suggest?  We guess that hypothetical question will remain unanswered.

This is one reason why the City is on a steady decline. It can no longer afford to support these drones.

Interestingly enough, Chris Brennan and various other Inky reporters are listed as "Friends" on Goode's and/or Latrine's Facebook pages. Can you say "Conflict of Interest"?
