Fattah: PA crucial for Obama victory

U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah says Pennsylvania will be key to a victory for President Obama in November.

“The truth is that with labor, with Democratic activists all across our state, we are poised to play a historic and important role again,” Fattah said this morning at a breakfast for the Pennsylvania delegation at the Democratic National Convention, which was streamed live online. “There’s no role to the White House for Romney and Ryan if they lose Pennsylvania.”

Fattah praised Obama’s for passing the Affordable Care Act and ending combat operations in Iraq and accused the GOP of trying to mislead voters.”

“Sen. Casey and I we battle these characters every day in Washington. Some people are surprised they have some difficulty with the truth, but we see it every day in Washington,” Fattah said.
